Hmmmmm

Who'd have thought that bike shorts would have made so much difference? It was still uncomfortable (Boy, howdy!) but tolerable at least. On another note, I find that getting up early and breaking a sweat at the gym makes me feel better all day. And then when I get off work I don't have to feel guilty about being a slug on the couch. Hmmmmm-----

The Pinky Swear (continued)

Today I got up at 5am and met my girlfriend at spinning class at LA Fitness. Nobody told me that I'd need padded bike shorts to make that seat comfortable. That was the only part I had a hard time with. (Literally) My nether regions haven't been that sore in YEARS!

More Spring Fever

I'm not into watching sports unless it's my grandkids.

The Pinky Swear

We have to start exercising again. My co worker and I started doing water aerobics at the health club a few months ago and then with our conflicting (ok-they conflict just enough for a good excuse) schedules and my adversion to doing anything when I get off work other than sitting and eating in front of the TV, we let our exercise date lapse. So today when I went down to her office for some important work related thing (certainly not just chatting with coffee) she said "We have to start exercising again". I said yes because when I look in the mirror I see myself morphing into Jabba the Hut. "Pinky Swear?" she said. And I did.

Spring Fever

My sister has baby goats! Spring is in the air. I wish I could focus but have come to the conclusion that I'm doomed to fail at that. I'm having elaborate fantasies about winning the lottery and embarking on world travels after quitting my job and doing random good deeds involving deserving less fortunate people. Whew!
